A naoshi whisk holder is a small, cylindrical vessel used to store and protect a chasen, or Japanese tea whisk, when not in use. Naoshi whisk holders are designed to hold the delicate bamboo tines of the chasen in place, preventing them from becoming misshapen or damaged, an essential accesory for maintaining the longevity of the chasen.
